Rear Mount Caravan
If rear mount is your only option, then follow these tips to make mounting your bike rack as safe, simple and effective. The first step before you order, ensure the rear bumper is strong enough.
Cutting Poles Shorter
Our poles come as standard at 800mm in height. High enough to clear gas bottles and regulators. HOWEVER - they can be cut shorter. For bike loading - the lower the rack - the easier it is! Here are some tips for cutting your poles.

Protect for E Bikes
If you’d like to protect your e-bike’s electrical components while travelling, we recommend wrapping them individually with protective packaging wrap. It’s a simple, inexpensive solution available from your local Bunnings or hardware store.
Caravan to Car Transfer
Want to use your caravan bike rack on the car? Easy.
Simply unbolt the bike rack from your caravan, attach it to your car mount, and you’re ready to go.
Leave the caravan behind, load up the bikes, and head out to explore. One bike rack, two setups, and even more freedom for your adventures.
Walk mode for Easy Load
Use your e-bike’s Walk Mode to make loading even easier. Simply engage Walk Mode and let the bike assist itself up the ramp — reducing the effort required and making loading simple, controlled and effortless.
Most bikes have it - for exactly this reason.
Reduce the Ramp Angle
Some caravan setups, particularly off-road vans, can sit quite high, creating a steeper loading ramp angle.
A simple solution is to place a sturdy, suitable support underneath the ramp to reduce the angle. This creates a gentler incline and can make loading your bikes much easier and more manageable.
Cross Bar Support
Our adjustable pad is designed to be adjusted to meet your bikes cross bar. If you don't have one - you can get an after market bolt on cross bar.
The are readily available in bike shops, or online.
Alarm Lock
Worried about bike theft? This 120db alarm lock will stop any thief in their tracks. Once activated, this movement triggered lock will send a ear piercing sound, a strong deterrent.
A must have for leaving your bikes unattended.
Bike Rack Rego Plates
Whilst waiting for your bike rack - order a 'bike rack' rego plate from your local roads authority. These are smaller than standard plates, and our rego plate/light board comes with all mounting holes for the bike rack rego plate.
With this set up - you'll be 100% road legal.
Tilt Pole & Cover
When the bike rack is not is use, you can tilt down the centre pole and support it with a pin, to keep it out of the way and stop it from scratching the bike rack. And if you are storing your caravan, our weather cover will protect the rack from weather damage.
